Le strade del Giubileo

Rome: over 30 million pilgrims from around the world are expected to arrive in the Eternal City for the 2025 Jubilee, one of Christianity’s most major events, occurring only once every 25 years. Their destinations are the four major basilicas: St. Peter’s, St. John Lateran, St. Mary Major, and St. Paul Outside the Walls.

The city’s infrastructure needs to be upgraded. Anas, the FSI Group company that manages Italy’s 32,000 km of roads, began maintenance and reconstruction work everywhere as early as summer 2023; however, 16 months is a tight timeframe for major interventions of this scale.

This is the story of a 16-month endeavor that will change the face of Rome forever.
