BEYOND POMPEII, LIFE ON THE ASHES OF VESUVIUS
An international team of experts for an interdisciplinary study in the search for the truth
Along the northern slopes of Vesuvius, on the opposite side to that of Pompeii, an Italian-Japanese archaeological team is looking for the villa Emperor Augustus died in 14 A.D. They are working in an area where no one had ever dug before and bring to light a gigantic building, big enough to look like a small town. It is not Augustus’ villa, but something much more important, so astounding as to force the experts to rewrite history.
